Course Description via Syllabus: This course introduces students to basic elements of the aesthetics, technology, and craft of cinematography. Students gain a working knowledge of digital video cameras, 16mm film cameras, along with lighting and grip technologies. Film production best practices, safety and key crew responsibilities are also emphasized throughout the semester. This class certifies students to work on the Paramount Soundstage.

Nonfiction Short Film: Tech Week
Jocelyn, the technical director of the play 12 Angry Jurors, and Zoe, the stage manager, work together during tech week. Combining tech elements with actor blocking on the main stage, the show finally comes together before the show.
